Welcome To Nōtan Music Rotation!

Intro

We are a music rotation site, every month we will upload 20 new songs for you to download. If you like the music we're uploading, we provide links to online stores where you can buy the cd. Lady Raven/Death's Seraphim and Melody Snow are the two sisters who will maintain this site. Every two weeks we will each choose 10 songs for you to preview. Please follow the rules. We will also feature a band of the month. The band of the month will be chosen by us that we feel deserves to be highlighted. Also, there will be a section for hard to find songs and a place to request music.

  • Yeah, we know we took forever this time. *shakes head* Anyway, the new rotation is up, as well as the Band of the Month, which happens to be Rin. Very beautiful.
  • We've also added 2 more songs to the Rare Finds page: White Breath by Abingdon Boys School and Scarlet Rose by Alexa. Hope you enjoy!

  • WE ARE NOT DEAD!!! We're very sorry for being so extremely late with this month's rotation, we've had a major work week from hell and then the internet was cut off AGAIN. We did manage to get the Band of the Month up before they cut it off; melody. I hope you enjoyed at least that much during our absence. >.<
  • I added three more new songs to the Rare Finds section: A Chance to Shine by Akino Arai (we finally have the full version *yay*), Arrival by Miki Shinichiro and Morikawa Toshiyuki, Ein seltener Vogel by Einstuerzende Neubauten. And then two songs from the last rotation: Mehboob Mere by Sunidhi Chauhan & Karsan Sargathiya and Harsh Love by Hari Satoshi eaves (張敬軒 - 酷 愛)
  • Also, you may have noticed that the album covers on the Albums/OSTs page were down awhile back, well it took Lady Raven a couple of hours, but she fixed all of them. Speaking of the Albums/OSTs section, we uploaded the Oban Star Racers OST: kindly donated to us by Chibi Chibi, we are enternally grateful.
  • If you happen to come across any broken links or messed up images, PLEASE LET US KNOW. Either email us or leave a comment, so that we can fix it. Unfortunately, we don't have time to go through and check all of the links, so if you can help us out a little we'd really appreciate it.
  • The new rotation will be up as soon as possible. Like I said we are incredibly sorry.

  • Okay well this is Lady Raven, cause well MelodySnow is asleep and I want to get this up before I get to tired. Anyway there are new OSTs, movies, & videos added. Well thats it, till next time. ^-~
  • Melodysnow again, I just added 3 new songs to the Rare Finds section: Bangkok Love Story by Calories Blah Blah, Real- Action by Sato Takeru, and Lux Aeterna composed by Clint Mansell. Oh, and it seems I forgot one, the ending theme from After School in the Teacher's Lounge.

  • Okay this is Melodysnow, I will be doing all the updates from now on (cause Lady Raven hates it ^^) Just to let you know whose talking. From now on the Updates will be in ascending order, with the newest updates first. I have no idea why we didn't do that in the first place, o.O oh well. And please give us the common courtesy of reading them, I don't do this just so I have an excuse to talk to myself, I already do that on a regular basis anyway. ;)
  • We will be getting our rotation up as soon as possible. We apologize for being late again, but this time we have a legitimate excuse. We were woking on the Albums/OST and Videos pages. Since we were having so many problems with Clear Blogs we had to switch sites, we are now using Blogger. Also we added tons and tons of albums and OSTs by various artists, so please check that out.
  • Also the new band of the month will be 'The Name' a Korean soul group. I hope you like them, personally I was completely obssessed with their CD for a month. ;P
  • Recently, we added Wolves of Kromer to the movies page, we also added a couple of yaoi animes to the Videos page. Umm, and another song to Rare Finds "Charm Point wa Naki Bokuro" by Suwabe Junichi.

  • WE'RE BACK, FINALLY!!!
  • I added another new song to the Rare Finds section, Shima Uta (LIVE) by Gackt.
  • We will try to have the next rotation up by Satuday. Our new band of the month will be the oh so lovely Kaya. We plan on getting that up as soon as possible.

  • Not much to say at the moment. We are still working on catching up with the bills, but with Christamas coming up and all, me and my sister are bent on trying to make this year a decent one for a change. So for the moment all of our money is going towards Christmas presents.
  • I did manage to upload a new song for the rare finds section, "Angel Main Theme [The Sanctuary Extended Remix]" by Darling Violetta, so be sure to check that out. Its a really great song. Let us know if you like it.
  • I think that's about it for the moment. I hope everyone has a great holiday.

  • Okay let's see where to start. First some of you may have noticed we stopped updating. Well that is because our DSL service was cut off for nonpayment, we are working more and more these past couple of weeks to get it paid up. We are currently using our mother's dial up account, so we can't really do to much with the site. As we can only use the internet at night and beween sleeping and trying to keep the phone line free in order to know when we work. We are not getting a whole lot done internet wise, besides checking our email from time to time.
  • Also we are thinking about closing the site down as we have ask nicely and not recived a SINGLE comment. If we do not start receiving comments we will close the site down. I'm sorry but we rely on comments in order to know what to add, what not to add, & what people want to see, hear, or enjoy. So please start commenting even if it's only to say a quick 'thanks'. That's about it for the updates so please enjoy the site and for heavens sake people start commenting. ^-^

  • First, we should apologize for not keeping up with our rotation dates, but we've been very busy with work, and things have just been really hectic lately. We are sorry and we'll try to improve in the future.
  • Second, we now have a music widget so that you can preview our band of the month before you download. We are hoping that this will get more people interested in our featured musicians.
  • We also have a music board where you can request songs, all we ask is that you follow the rules. My sister and I are not strict people we're not going to yell at you, we don't bite. Feel free to request anything, we made this site for your benefit, take advantage of it.
  • We are now implementing a comments page. Please comment if you download anything, we really appretiate the feedback, let us know how we're doing. Honestly, we didn't make this site for ourselves. Help us out.
  • We have decied to add to our site, since we've been uploading so much for other people/sites we figured we'd share.fWe now have an albums page, a few movies, and some manga.
